Academic Freedom & Responsibility
Austin Community College (ACC) faculty members are entitled to academic freedom in the conduct of research and teaching and are tasked with the associated responsibilities. To this end, the ACC District endorses the academic freedom principles set forth in the Statement of Principles on Academic Freedom and Tenure published by the Association of American Colleges and Universities and the American Association of University Professors.
