ACCelerators


The ACCelerator, a network of high-tech learning environments, is changing the way ACC students, faculty and staff learn, teach, and engage. The ACCelerators are located at Highland, Round Rock, and San Gabriel Campuses,  providing access to 800+ computer stations for scheduled classes, classrooms, group study rooms, tutoring, academic coaching, career advising, registration support, and much more in an open environment. The ACCelerators’ wide-open space facilitates collaborations and is an excellent place to teach and engage with students, faculty, and staff. Visit the ACCelerators website for campus hours.

Reserving & Scheduling Classroom/Pod Space/Study Rooms

The ACCelerator features classrooms, study rooms, and numerous computer pod stations that can be reserved by ACC faculty and staff for a variety of purposes.

Facility scheduling is approved in the following priority/order: Academic courses, Continuing Education courses, Adult Education courses, Academic Support, Internal ACC groups, External groups. Faculty and staff can reserve classrooms and pod spacing online at the ACC Scheduling website.

Checking Out Equipment & Faculty Training 

Technological equipment is available for the use of faculty and staff, to aid in classes, workshops and seminars held within the ACCelerator. Please consult with ACCelerator management/staff to ensure all desired equipment is available and set-up accordingly.

The ACCelerator offers training to assist faculty and staff on how to best utilize the facility and its technology (i.e. Smart Boards, Smart TV, etc.) for teaching.
