About the Faculty Handbook


The Austin Community College (ACC) Faculty Handbook is an online quick reference guide detailing information pertaining to faculty and instructors. It provides general information about College policies, procedures, services for faculty, and faculty responsibilities.

All information contained in this handbook is intended to help full-time and adjunct faculty understand relevant ACC policies and practices. The official ACC Administrative Rules, ACC Board of Trustees policies, and ACC policies and procedures shall be the official governing documents and shall take precedence in the event of any conflict. ACC Employee Handbook

This ACC Employee Handbook is designed to provide employees with comprehensive information about College policies, procedures, and benefits in an easy-to-read format. Employees are encouraged to use it as a reference manual. The official policies and procedures are found in ACC’s Administrative Rules.
