Assessment Services
All first-time college students must take the TSI test before enrolling in classes unless they are exempt or complete. The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) is a state-required assessment test to determine college-readiness in reading, writing, and math. Students whose first or native language is not English, may be required to take the English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) assessment.
