Placement & Advancement
Austin Community College (ACC) will place and advance faculty commensurate with teaching and/or with experience relevant to the mission of the college and the academic needs of programs. Initial placement is determined by educational level and experience (See salary scales). Part-time experience may also be taken into account. Non-teaching experience may count toward educational level rather than experience as determined by equivalency rules established by the Chancellor.
